Im trying to install windows xp...
I'm using the SONY Vaio E series XP Downgrade helper to download all the drivers, but there are some issues with it.
Firstly a few of the dwonloads do not work- I tried redownloading the tool, and the first few modules are fine, but as soon as it starts downloading "Graphics_Driver_ATI_8.672.1.3.zip" it never 'finishes' downloading, the Download bar completes, the (Mins remaining disapears), but the download speed is still going, the percentage keeps increasing (went to 200PERCENTAGESIGN+ before), and the filesize (out of xx) keeps increasing- beyond the size it needs to download.
The file seems to be downloaded in C:\Vaio\...
When I open the file with Winrar i can see a few files, but as soon as I try to extract it, it gives me an error.

I have tried to mymic the log file, naming it Graphics......log
Set the contents to "completed ok"
It by-passes the download of the graphics driver and contiues, everything works fine untill the last module is downloaded- same thing happens. (think the last file is called VPCE_01.zip)
I have tried runnign 'Start_setup+E.exe" in the windows OS, but it says there is a Missing .vbs file.
I tried looking for the drivers online etc. but cant seem to find them anywhere, AMD says their drivers are incompatible with my laptop, and tell me to go to the computers manufacture for the drivers.
The Sony downloads page shows lots of drivers and programs for WIn Vista and 7, but only this one tool to download the drivers, (and SATA drivers for OS install)
What can I do to get those drivers? My monitor is at 1FPS, I cant do anything with that...
Trying to download from WIN 7 Ultimate 64x to Windows XP Pro 32x... (well.. multiboot)

I have tried to contact Sony Vaio support, Currently I am in Australia, so I cant call the UK for support, and while trying to email them I found out my Serial number is invalid....
while trying to Email them relating to something other than my problem- so I dont need to type my INVALID Serial number it gives me some error- which I cant even read because it goes off the screen,
Checked everything 5 times, everything is correct, there, and even with different browsers..
Been having problems with this laptop since the very begining, I think ill I'm going to stay clear from Sony products from now on... worst support EVER.
