I've got some issues with my T-series SVT1312X1ES
1: The battery only lasts about 3hrs or so in normal use - I have energy-saving battery profile enabled.
2: The screen doesn't close properly, not laying flat over the keyboard. Sometimes it does close flush but more often not.
3: The fan is quite noisy and intrusive.
Has anybody else had these problems? In themselves it isn't that big a deal (the machine still works fine) but it's annoying a I've only had the machine for about 4 months - my previous (much cheaper) year old Acer TimelineX looks and works pretty much as it did the day I bought it. Considering this cost nearly £500 more than the Acer I expect much better build quality - it's never been dropped or maltreated, just use it on my commute to London.
