Just want to say how annoying a search option is when it does not reconise its own model name and numbers.....

PVC 2246 or PVC-2246

you ask for a model number and the rear of the computer states Model name or product code .........sort your selves out - unprofessional or what !

I have to agree that the numbering system adopted by Sony is confusing!

I think you will find that the product number of this model is PCV-RS224 - check this either in Vaio Control Centre or the BIOS.
