norton security  keeps telling me i have high computer usage, only had my laptop a week costed me £700 got all the latest updates etc NOT HAPPY   also keeps freezing model name svt1312b4e (touch screen, windows 8 )  really annoyed thinking of taking it back.

Hi leightboy987 and welcome.

If you have installed Norton Security, are you sure you have completely removed the preinstalled McAfee Security program using the McAfee Uninstaller MCPR.EXE?

If not, there is probably a conflict between Norton and the McAfee Family Protection Module.
