Bought my first Sony Vaio last week...
A VGN-C2Z/B with Vista Home Ultimate.
Opened the box when I got home
Took about half an hour to set it all up and connect to my wireless connection.

I have to say it is nothing short of excellent.. I love it..

It is easy - all working perfectly - and a joy to use..

I have the same laptop but with premium. Was wondering if Bitlocker works ok on your VGN-c2Z? Want to upgrade to Ultimate but only if it this programs works ok.

Hey all,

I also got my new C2Z/B this week. Overall I am satisfied with it, but I wish it had better audio capabilities. The speakers are really very bad, can only match my walkman phone.
I have a question about the NVIDIA GeForce 7400 GPU. It said 128 MB memory on the store, but when I look at system propoerties it says that it only has 64 MB. any idea?
+ Does your screen flickers and strange lines occur (as waves in old TVs) while the computer starts and shut downs and during some screen changes. That is very disturbing. If I am the only one with this problem. I am going to ask for a new one.

A few days ago I bought a VGN-C2Z Sony Vaio laptop. I am really happy so far. Everything works as expected, but I am having one problem. When unplug the current from the laptop, it starts making a really annoying sound. It is almost inapreciable, but I would like to know if this is normal. (It has been on for about 6 hours, maybe its too hot?)

it's me again. Installing Realtek's High Definition Audio that I downloaded from their website improved sound quality (maybe someone is interested in this).
