Why does my wifi keep cutting out?

When I'm at home, my wifi cuts out the whole time when I'm using my Sony Vaio (VPCSB1H7B). It doesn't cut out when I'm in the office and it doesn't cut out at home on my husband's mac. So why me? :smileystress:

Could you give more details? : Operating System you are using , IP configuration of your adapter (Static,dynamic), distance to the access point and so on...
