hi All - Is it possible to boot from either the internal SD card (ricoh) or esata connection.

Hi,
You can install Windows 7 on and boot from an eSATA disk or an SD card (there is plenty of advice on how to achieve this - google installing windows 7 on esata or SD and you'll find it.
Obviously, this is assuming that your computer supports booting from either of these devices in the BIOS...
