48v through headphone jack

Hello, recently I plugged my Xperia X Compact into a sound desk which, unfortunately, had 48v of phantom power enabled. Instantly the phone died and now does not power on. When plugged into a charger the charging LED flashes red but even after being left for 9-10 hours, it does not progress past the red flashing or turn on. I imagine that the audio circuitry has been damaged, and maybe there is a problem with the logic board judging from other threads I have read. What will 48v do to my phone, is there a fuse or failsafe that will protect the phone and can this phone be fixed and/or data recovered from it?

A quick google seems to suggest logic/motherboard is the same thing so running 48v through it will have frazzled it. Might be clutching at straws in terms of data recovery but you won't know unless you send it for repair.

Thank you for the response, and sorry just to clarify, you reckon that it is likely that the data will be lost? Recovering the data is the only reason for me to repair it otherwise I will just get a new phone, because it will cost money to send off for repair regardless of whether the phone/data can be repaired/recovered.

I would say so, sending it off for repair assuming it could be would result in the phone being wiped anyway so wouldn't count on it.
