app pin numbers disappeared

Hi all.

I had certain apps secured with a pin number, and a few weeks ago, this just stopped working, along with all notification alert sounds changing too. How can I restore this security option please?

By default, Xperias don't have security options to add PIN codes for apps. This is done using some 3rd party apps from Google Play Store. So if you had the function active then it disappeared suddenly, my guess is that either your phone updated and that app is not compatible anymore, or you uninstalled that app by mistake.

So you should just find another app that can do this job for you.
