End of call loud tone

This just started happening lately, every time a call ends the usual noise when a call ends happens but it's really loud now coming from both speakers as of the call is on speaker phone but it never is. Is a software update going to fix this?

Hi @Dan35, very sorry to hear about this, must be very inconvenient.

Can you remember if you installed a new application or installed a new update just prior to you starting to experience this behaviour?

I would recommend that you start with rebooting your phone in safe mode and make a few calls when third party applications aren't loaded. That way we can make sure that one of your downloaded applications isn't the cause of this noise being played at such a high volume.

if you haven't solved it yet - one of the apps causing that is Snapchat. you can go to Settings > Apps > Snapchat > Permissions and deny Telephone permission. the app will work fine, but the loud beep will be gone.
