Fingerprint scanner disappeared after update

Hi, my fingerprint scanner has completely gone a week after upgrading to nougat. Any ideas on how I get it back please.

Do you know where your phone is from? I know this was removed for the US versions. I am not sure about other regions though.

Hi, No flashing, just did the nougat upgrade approx 10 days ago. But fingerprint scanner just disappeared today

That's strange... So it was there after the update but has just recently disappeared? 

Could you please test the phone in safe mode and see if it's the same?

Hi, here is tested in safe mode and still not there.

Think I'll take it into the store and get them to look at it as it's only a few months old.

before you take it in to the store I recommend you try a software repair using Xperia Companion.
