Fingerprint scanner disappeared after update

Hi, my fingerprint scanner has completely gone a week after upgrading to nougat. Any ideas on how I get it back please.

My fingerprint scanner isn't working there isn't an option to use it anymore when I go to set it up its just not there

Did you try Software repair by Xperia Companion as CameronT says??

Hi,  the fingerprint option has disappeared from my Xperia X Performance. I bought this phone in the UK (unlocked) and am using it on the EE network.

Sent for a repair, it came back upgraded

you should contact your Local support to get it inspected.

 Hard Reset did not help.

I was using the finger print unlock function just yesterday, but the option, finger print manager, disappeared. Can anyone help?

This used to be a very useful function, and I would like to fix it asap, please someone help me…
