Good morning.
I received last week the Nougat update, and I noticed that my phone is being kept awake by this 3 processes.
At 12:56 PM I have only 35 minutes of screen on and I'm already at 78% of battery.
- I'm at work and I don't have wifi,
- I unplugged the phone 5:30 hours ago.
Hope you can help me with a solution
since your phone is recently upgraded, it might take a while to finish up backgound processes (caches, index etc) but since you said it was already a week, try to see if this occurs when you are on safe mode, charge your device to at least 90% to reset the battery information, lets see if it still is draining battery .
So should I stay an entire day in safe mode?
What should I look for during this day?
you can do both,
charge the battery to full.
day 1: use the phone normally as you would.
day 2: boot to safe mode, although you can not use 3rd party apps, try to use the phone as normally as possible,
take screenshots of your battery graph,
I booted the phone in safe mode.
After 1:30 hour the phone wa already at 93% with a 25% of Google Play Services usage.
In this time, I used the phone only to check an email and wrote some messages, with a total screen time of perhaps 15 minutes.
The rest was Anroid System. Now I booted normally, but sadly the statistics disappeared. But trust me, even in safe mode, in another three hours my phone would have been at 75% as usually
Sadly this problem is still here.
Do you still have the problem?
I think I'm going to sell this phone. Everyday at 17:00 I have only 35% of battery left with 2 hours of sot or less. I'm hating this phone as much as I loved my previous Z3 Compact.
