Language Hebrew in xperia X compact

Hi,

I bought Sony Xperia X compact in Amazon, it is the international version but it does not have the hebrew language in the menues.

Is there any way to add this language?

Hi,

Use the app morelocal2.

Unfurtunatly if you are using Android 7.

each time you restart the phone you will have to set Hebrew again.

When you go to Settings -> Languages & input -> Languages, scroll to the bottom of the languages menu and you may find Hebrew listed in Hebrew letters (I use Arabic and it appears like العربية).

I wonder if you found hebrew on android 7.

I am using the app morelocal2 which worked fine on android 6.

On android 7 I have to set Hebrew again after reboot.

On my XZ Premium which runs Android 7.1.1, I think I have Hebrew:

On my Xperia X compact(7.1.1) there is no hebrew...

I got more info. Seems that the languages that are available on your device depend on the region or market in which the device is released, for example, some Chinese and Japanese variants do not come with certain languages. So I guess in your case, flashing a different firmware customization (maybe MENA) would make Hebrew appear on your list.

Thank you very much for your research. Indeed I bought my phone in England.

I don't think that I am going to flash the firmware. I'll stick to the current solution and reinstall Hebrew after restart. Maybe Android 8. Will bring a better solution. Thanks again.
