I recently bought the Xperia X and then came a series of updates...
Unfortunately, although most of the elements seemed to be in place except the newly added weather and clock widget adopted from the latest Xperia loop interface.
As much as I would want the complete package to be a part of the Xperia X,
But, till that time It's better if Sony gives an option to remove the widget altogether.
It simply doesn't seem to fall in place.
@NikhilSharma I don't understand, do you want to remove the widget from the homescreen? you can do that by tapping on it and holding it, then dragging it to the top of the screen http://gfycat.com/enviouscreativeindianpangolin
there are also other clock and weather widget styles available, you can long press the homescreen and go to widget section to check available options. if you don't find any you like, you can also download other styles from Play Store.
No najodleglejszy it's not what I meant.
It's just that why would Sony include a widget as part of the UI which has no symmetry with other elements of UI.
What about the unified design approach?
Addition of this half baked widget is not ideal until the overall UI is upgraded.
They could also design a similar widget using the existing clock approach if they wanted to or leave it the way it was...
