No SMS/Text Notification Light

Hi all, 

The notification light on my phone for text messages has stopped since pairing it with my Gear Fit 2?

I have tried using a different SMS app, but the notification light still won't work with texts. It does with all other apps.

Anyone heard of any kind of conflict between the watch/text messages/notification lights on phones?

Open the messaging app > go to settings > check the notification settings > LED notifications > is it enabled?

It is yeah.

What's strange is that it works if you enable vibration?

No way of telling though. It's really frustrating though.
