I'm not happy with the appearance of the call log. The only information that is displayed is how many hours before the call has been made and a lookup for country in case of mobile-mobile call or geographic area in case of mobile-fixed call. For example I see "Greece yesterday". Also call duration can not be retrieved. Additionally unanswered calls originating from me, do not have a different visible sign than normal originating calls that have been answered.
1) Actually the phone lookup information is completely unnecessary/not useful. It just takes space, I would say precious space for smartphones of any size. It would be nice to deactivate, after all there is no global\universal "whitenumber page" db to communicate with and retrieve real caller name. I don't know if this makes sense to really big countries like, China, India, US and Russia.
2) Also the generic info "yesterday" or "15 hours ago" is also not useful. it's more useful to know the exact time. Maybe it could be useful for calls happened the last hour, but It really only makes sense to provide the real time info instead of the generic hours or days ago. After all people are usually either not good at maths or either lazy to make the subtractions and especially during small hours.
3) Call duration can not be retrieved. I tried pressing the details of the log but no call duration could be seen
4) Originating calls that were not answered do not have a seperate sign. They use instead the normal succesful originating call sign. On the other hand for terminating calls, the implementation is correct as unanswered calls differentiate visually.
I made around 15 calls yesterday and couldn't differentiate who answered me and who didn't. No visible sign, no call duaration info and no exact time info.
Please let me know whether this four behaviors may change with the existing software or else forward this request to sony or google developers. From my point of view all these stuff are very basic for a phone and some of them were implemented in my previous phone xperia E4 which were using android 4.4.
