US Carrier support

Does Sony mobile have any intention of enabling support for volte and/or wifi calling on ATT and Tmobile in the US by passing their phones through their respective certification process? Its really the only thing stopping me from buying the XZ premium when it becomes available here, and I'd love to have it on my X compact.
