 Hi, need a screen replacement, had a quote for 300 dollars and 3 weeks time to do it, can someone tell me where else can i go or where can i find just the screen?

If you DIY, it will void the warranty BUT it will be cheaper, you can buy the spare parts on amazon or ebay.
