Really big issue,
as far as I know the problem is that I could not understand how the preloaded software is before actually trying to use the phone.
First problem
I need some privacy since I use the phone for work and I was planning to disable all "backup", "data backup", "data sharing" and so on that are now preloaded on a phone.
However applications with known privacy problems have been preloaded "Facebook" and I could not get rid of them withour rooting (Disabling cannot be trusted)
Second problem
Rooting destroy DRM keys (I mean, why, what is the point, since I can backup them ?) but of course you need to do it before rooting, and this was not known in advance. (did not have any user data to save)
I plan to send the Phone back to Amazon/Sony since the Unit is clearly defective from my point of view. Yes, I understand all the checkboxes on installation but let me say one thing
It is clearly void to require acceptance of a clause from customer just for the customer to see what the product is like. It is like to go to a supermarket and require that you waive all your rights just to enter and see what it is around.
Sony, what is your stance on this ?

Unlocking the bootloader destroys your DRM keys as clearly stated HERE so you don't have a leg to stand on.
@NoDrm many OEMs fill their phones with Bloatware and useless apps but disabling them works 100% of the time. I am not sure why you are not trusting a disabled app nor I know who told you that disabling an app cannot be trusted.. It's the same as un installing it, the apk remain dormant, not configured nor executed.
