XPERIA X stop playing media alone

Hi all, 

I have a problem on my XPERIA X, it often stop the playing of media by itself. 

Video, audio, VLC, Spotify and other apps are affected, so no link with apps. 

Also with headphone or bluetooth. 

Media goes on PAUSE mode, and I have each time to press PLAY to resume the media. 

Not so good

Sony programmers have any idea?

First I suggest booting the handset into Safe Mode so we can clarify if the issue continues or not.

I found my Xperia X on Nougat concept does this on battery saver mode but not during normal operation

I tryed the safemode but the problem is the problem does not appear regulary, so difficult to says if it is better in safemode or not

Mine did this too.

I had to restart my phone and then it was gone. I dont know what I did, and if the problem is gone....

Yes if you restart it will disapear... for a short time. 

Normally you will have the issue again, as I had actually.

You are not alone with your issue. I complain about it too. It doesn't matter, if it is audio or video player. It stops suddenly and randomly. This behaviour was appeared first after the Android-Upgrade (6->7) and I can't solve it. It looks like the player deamon stops to play, after a background app sent a message to "front app", but I'm not sure.

It's very annoying. I use my Xperia sometimes for playing (over an active speaker) a playback music for our choir. I had to look for another smartphone for playing playbacks. My Xperia was not reliable. And I bought it, because of its media capability. I'm very disappointed.

I agree to your feeling that something freeze the playing on background.

Very stressful when I'm driving and Spotify stop to play each 10 second...

One logging could help if technical team would ask for that....
