I am pleasantly surprised by the battery life. Sony really worked some magic in the battery management department.
I use my phone every day on 4G and WiFi around 50/50 with Bluetooth music, standard browsing, YouTube, Netflix, maps, the usual... And after a week of going through battery charging cycles and general usage, from 9am to 9pm, I usually come home with 20-40% battery left, depending on the day. Of course, the biggest battery drain on the phone is the screen, so if you use it constantly, especially in sunny areas where you need to max the brightness, it won't make it through the day, but that's the case with any phone. I always have a power bank handy, so it's not an issue for me.
Just make sure to turn all the UI elements possible to dark mode as it will make a HUGE difference.
