When launch camera app, it has about 10% chance to trigger "SD card error" (SD卡错误), then Camera app crashes. while the error occuring, you cannot see the preview of photos window at the lower right corner.
At the beginning of using the tf cards, you will never meet this. after several days using, about taking several hundreds of photos, it occurs.
I'm a experience user of Xperia. this problem also occurs on XZ Premium. it troubles me for a long time. However, again, it occurs on Xperia 1, too.
I tried several TF cards: Sanisk extrem 128G; Sanisk extrem 400G; Lexar 633x 512G.
All of them have the problem.
Sandisk extrem 64G - this card has no problem.
I found how to reproduce it in 100% chance. But I'm not sure if this has the same root cause to the crash while launching camera.
Steps:
1. launch camera
2.take 3 pictures as soon as you can
3.Click the small preview window (at the lower right corner, there is a cycle spinning) quickly and continusly, - you will never open the preview, but get "SD card error - SD card is unavailable" and camera app crashes.
On the SD cards in question..
What uhs rating do they have?
UHS 1 U3 or UHS U1?
and what UHS rating does the SanDisk Extreme have?
(Lexar)512GB read100MB/s Micro SDXC Class10 UHS-I U3 V30 A2 (633x)
Sandisk is Ultra 400G,signed as U1,
Sandisk extreme 128G,signed as U3
Your SD card is imcompatible with your Xperia 1.
The compatibility problem of SD card with computers is common sense.
I guess you can use SD card made by other manufacturers wothout problems.
Apologize that i cannot agree.
My followers and I have tried several mainstream products, with all of below can be reproduced the problem:
Samsung 256GB TF U3 4K EVO+
Sandisk Utral series 128g 256g 400g*
Sandisk Extreme 128g
Lexar USH-I U3 633X 512G
*Sandisk Utral 400G is the recommendation config from Sony mobile China marketing.
Can you give me a compatible list?

I'm using the Samsung evo+ fine, 256gb also,
The SanDisk Extreme 128gb is in my XZ2 Premium.
What I did to is formatted into exfat on my pc, then again on insertion into the device, this gave it a pure clean file table and format, both cards work fine to this day. But I did have issues before I formatted with errors.
after you formating it (filesys should be exfat), it would work fine for several weeks.
Again the issue would occur after taking a lot of photos to sd card. No exception, let's see
