Where have the home screen options gone?

Hi I just upgraded from my Xperia XZ Premium to the Xperia 1 and I was attempting to setup my new phone to match my old one.

But I cannot find any of the options available on the XZ premium xperia launcher such as being able to add and remove home screens and set one as the main home screen or alter the grid layout icon styles or transitions. 

Please don't tell me sony removed this functionallity from the phone?

Have you tried tapping and holding a blank space on the homescreen to bring up the options?

If you add a widget you can drag it to another home screen.

There are only about 5 options listed under setting when you long press and they only relate to rotation and google. The options that used to be in the older version of xperia home such as transitions, grid size, icon size, remove duplicates etc are all missing.

And while you can drag widgets to more screens when you press the home button it jumps to the left most screen and you cannot for example set the middle of 3 pages to be your home screen as you could on the older version of xperia home, You also cannot pre set the number of pages you have like you could previously.

yes I agree, it is dissapointing ! like half of the options are missing, there is no customisation at all. Big step back in my eyes. Upgraded from XZ premium ...to find out its akward now. Great phone..but lacking software funcionality

Sony solve those issues and bring back stock functionality! Android is all about free customization!

You just long press on the screen, when all your screens appear makensure the "home" symbol is above the one you want in the middle and tap it, it will stay solid white above your chosen main screen. You can drag other screens to either side of your main home screen.
