Good evening people so far I have found so many errors and I'm genuinely getting pissed off no netflicks, no Xperia transfer companion or transfer there is so many problems battery life is draining memory is showing 4.5 out 5.6gb seriously Sony your going to have to give people refunds or compensation soon for false information. How does this even pass your quality control?

Can you guys on O2 go into settings, apps, show all apps and:

1. Is Netflix present?

2. Does Netflix have a "disable" button

If so press the three dots top right and select "uninstall updates"

Once complete please open Netflix (you just made it visible)

When prompted, update the app in play store.

I'll escalate the issue now, thanks for reporting it guys

Have you considered bringing your phone in to the store for warranty? Or just complain on forums?

You can try a software repair using Xperia companion to solve some issues.

"Your" going to have to bring it in the store for someone to check it out. How did you even pass elementary? You're and your are two different words, as well as "netflicks".

I don't know which country you are in?

Netflix works fine on my UK phone on EE.

It is well known that battery life improves over the first few charges of a phone, and also a lot needs installing/updating on a new phone, so the battery gets a hammering to start with. Also try turning down the brightness of the screen if the battery life is bothering you.

I'm sure there will be bugs to start off with, as there are with any new phone, but I've not encountered any so far.

I am having the exact same issues. I bought mine on o2. No netflix or Xperia companion all says cannot use this device. Got same error in the Xperia hlep screen as well. I have ran the software repair tool on companion as that was the only thing that worked. Same issues. Also factory reset and signed into a new Google account all the same issues so not account related. Something strange is going on on these phones!

Oh wow, we have an internet ninja here do us all a favour and go and troll someone else. If you not going to help **bleep** off! Just to clarify we here in the UK don't go to elementary school and secondly, typo errors happen so get over it.

Now back to the point. Netflicks still does not install and the support does not work. I have tried the repair and still have not had any luck. The phone is currently on the o2 network.

Try contacting the Sony support...

Netflix works just fine on mine, got it at Carphone warehouse.

The battery seems pretty bad, but I'll wait a week for final judgement... I've been using it way more than usual, so...

My only issue for now is that I can't switch to Dark mode, it just doesn't work when I do it in settings. That would help the battery life tremendously.

Other than that, I love this thing so much Slightly_smiling_Face

I had mine from carphone warehouse and I got Netflix working as well.

Maybe o2 get it removed as mobile networks amend android and apps before selling.

I switched on dark mode but it didn't change to dark mode... battery life is killing me. I don't want to return this but well, we will see.

Xperia Companion is not included, and doesn't work on the X1. Netflix appeared straight away in my apps - I'm not sure if it was pre-installed. I got my phone through Carphone Warehouse, on EE. I wonder if phones through O2 direct have been customised by O2, and that customisation is causing problems?

@LukaStemberger

what is dark mode?
