Xperia 10 Plus Unsupported SD card
Xperia 10 Plus Unsupported SD car After updating to android 10, the phone stopped seeing cards above 8gb. After inserting a 32 / 64gb card, it displays the notification Media SD card not supported. After entering the settings, the formatting is 20%, shortly after starting it displays a message about the formatting completed, but the notification still occurs and the cards do not work. Any ideas?

Yes I have. I have one Samsung evo, one sandisk and one unbranded, all 3 are 128gb. They worked well before on Android 9 ver of Xperia 10 plus, they work well on my asus zenfone 5 today. Only on Android 10 version Xperia 10 plus it does not. Same hardware as before upgrade to 10 and not compatible anymore.
Seems like this is linked to Android 10 as it allows to expand system storage with sd card so it limit is to 32gb (half of current storage). But that is not what I want to do, I want to add additional external storage 128gb to keep songs and use the phone as walkman.

portable NOT extra internal storage
But when try to format as portable it says done, after only 20% bit will
not work as now says corrupted!
If Sony knew this restriction on Android 10 upgrade (I've seen many
comments on Google about different phones and sd card problems) it should
have been made clear and offered with correct information. Not leading us
blind like sheep...
Then saying when upgrading, it's not possible to revert to the previous
version...

Found the fault. It's only when insert sim card it will cause sd card error. Even without sim card, no error but not stable. Won't consider anymore Sony phones for media consumption in the future.

Could you try another SIM card with the same SD card you had, it could be defect or too old.

Sorry could not try that. I revert back to Android 9. Enjoying my dsd on my 128gb sd card now.
Could not stand the updates anymore as it gets worse with each update. All I give up now is dark mode
