Minolta Lenses with a57

I am considering the a57 in order to use my Minolta lenses. However, the image suggests that the AF/MF switch is on the lens barrel, unlike the Minolta 5D.

Can I use the Minolta lenses, and still switch between AF and MF?

Hi dreycott, welcome to the Sony Forums

Like the a55 it's based on, the a57 has an AF/MF button close to the lens mount which serves the same purpose as a lens-based one.

Cheers
