Nex-5, Nex-7 AE bracketing, why only +/- 0.7 EV ??

I do some HDR photography and dont understand why the Nex-5 which i have now and the Nex-7 which i am saving for, only has Auto Exposure bracketing of +/- 0.7EV. Surely +/- 3 EV would be better??

Will the Nex-7 firmware be changed in this area in the future.

Also, when, if at all, will the cashback on Nex's start again??

I see you've added your request for progressive EV bracketing to the suggestions thread; I was about to direct you there.

Cashback offers are like any marketing tool – they come and go like advertising campaigns and you will doubless hear about it the same time as everyone else, the next time one comes up. I'm afraid there's no way of predicting if or when this will happen.
