I have the NEX6 but I'm sure this issue applies to all of the range. I would like a way to remotely start video shooting without touching the camera. I don't mind if this is via a wired remote, the awesome smartphone app or a standard IR remote. The NEX6 has a notoriously difficult video button to press, and when the tiny camera body is buried deep inside a video rig with matte box, monitor, follow focus and batteries attached it becomes even harder to press.
Adding this function would make this a serious contender for indie film making, especially given the cameras have such awesome features like focus peaking etc.
