VCT-VPR10 Tripod + α7S II + FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS + Zoom

Hello all happy eyes!*

Wondering if anyone may have an answer on to how well combination of Sony product would work togeather.. Would like to get my self Sony VCT-VPR10 Tripod, just am not sure if tripod zoom option will work?

Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS 

All 3 item are from Sony and wondering if such set up would allow to controle zoom using tripod handle?

Hi ilgainis,

welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..

That set up will not work because the FE 70-200 F4 G (SEL70200G), like many camera lenses, does not have motor zoom capabilities, when a Sony lens does have motor zoom the lens name will contain a letter P (Power Zoom) such as the SELP28135G..
