Can I get some help here pls?

I have just purchased a XR65A95LU on the basis that it was advertised as having a Freesat tuner.

I know there is no app, but the satellite tuner is supposed to be able to connect to Freesat.

Question is - how?

The setup guide makes no mention and presents you with loads of settings that mean nothing to me.

I have been using a Panasonic TV with Freesat receiver for many years.

Does anyone know the correct settings to at least get it working?

Assuming it will actually receive Freesat that is.

You can connect the Satellite dish direct to your TV through the Satellite connection on the TV.

Receiving satellite broadcasts

If you have a satellite dish installed, you can view satellite broadcasts by configuring the tuner settings.

Press the

(Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Channels & Inputs] — [Channels] — [Channel setup] — [Auto tuning] — [General satellite] — [Set up] for subscribed satellite broadcasts.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Or if you are using a separate satellite decoder box by another manufacturer then you will connect the dish to satellite box and connect that via HDMI cable to the TV.

Thanks for the reply, I Want to ask about Freesat EPG but the Sony Community apparently does not allow that!

Try again, the Freesat EPG doesn't populate with the channel details, have you come across that issue/

I believe that the Freesat EPG is a licenced product that Sony do not subscribe to for this model. Did you see any mention of "Freesat" in the specifications or features? Simply two satellite tuners supporting DVB-S/S2.

Freesat want you to buy one of their boxes, with the added benefit of a proper PVR.

Please note it specifically lists the A95L as NOT compatible with Freesat.
