My 82 year old mum has had her tv just over a year. The home button no longer allows access to apps so she can’t get iplayer etc. I’ve changed the batteries, switched everything off and on again but this hasn’t solved it (the tv is registering the button when I press it). Any ideas please before trying a factory reset???

I have the same issue. I'm hoping it's an easy fix and will be fixed soon.

Me too - have opened a support case with Sony. Will keep you posted if they reply, but suspect there’s nobody there at weekends

I have the same issue, it's since yesterday 11 pm, it happend with my TV and my freind TV at the same time.

I updated the Software manually to 8.215 but the same issue.

Same here, even a factory reset didn't help. Its a case of waiting for SONY support to get on line and let us know the fix.

Nope. I emailed Sony this afternoon and no reply as yet

Hi all

I contacted Sony and have received a reply; unfortunately I’m now 250 miles away from my mum so can’t try the steps they suggested. I have copied them below in the hope that it might help one of you guys - please let me know how you get on!!
