We have a Sony Bravia TV, that is 7 months old.
Yesterday it developed a fault.
Horizontal lines across the left hand side of the screen.
Contacted Sony and was told to update software and if that doesn’t work do a factory reset.
We did all we where told and still we have the problem.
As you can see from the photos below, the TV is unwatchable.
any help or advice would be much appreciated
we have contacted the retailer and they are unhelpful
sony said they would contact us today to try and work through the problem !
still waiting for someone to contact us.

Hi @Nancyblu If the TV is only 7 months old then it is the Retailer (unless you bought it direct from Sony) that has the responsibility to correct your problem either by replacing it, repairing it or giving you a full refund. Don’t let them fob you off by asking you to contact Sony direct. That’s their job.
The retailer was an absolute disgrace, said they couldn’t find any problem on the TV. They said it must be the cables we are using!
