I bought a new 2021 model Sony Bravia XR series about 6 months ago. iPlayer and other catch up apps all started OK from Sony Select but would not start as of October 8th. Sony Select shows the icons but nothing happens when OK is pressed.
However, if I start a BBC program and then press the green button on the remote (for 'Play from start') iPlayer will start.
How do I get iPlayer to start without this workaround, and is there a similar workaround for other catch up apps like All4?
