I have just bought a new Sony TV (model number KD-43XF8096). Got it connected via Free Sat, all internet connected and up to date, but Guide repeatedly shows 'No event information' on the list for virtually every station. I click on channel, view, and then it fills in but next day 'no event information' comes back! Tried the shop's installers 3 times who did best to help, then contacted Sony who say it's a cable issue. Note that the TV also has FreeView but I live in an area where aerial service is unreliable so have to use satellite. My old Sony Centre (before I moved 200 miles away) said they tried both cable and aerial with the same model and they had the exact same problem on Satellite, but it resolved on aerial use. But I cannot use the aerial for reasons above. I have another Sony TV via a Free Sat (Manhattan) box which is also showing 'no event information' but otherwise working OK. HELP!
