Sony Bravia KDL-40HX753 Horizontal Lines- Replacing Ribbon Cables at TCON Board

Hello everyone, I need some help with horizontal lines in the top quarter of the screen on a Sony Bravia KDL-40HX753. After reading up on the issue I assumed the problem was in the Tcon Board, so I ordered a new Tcon Board for that model and replaced it, that did not solve the issue and so I tried disconnecting the ribbon cables that connect to the Tcon Board one at a time and after disconnecting the cable which I have circled in the picture below, that sorted the problem out. So my question is, is the problem with the ribbon cable and if it is how do I replace the ribbon cable? I unscrewed the metal bar to which the tin foil in the picture is stuck to but I couldn't see how to disconnect the cable from the place it is connected to what I assume is the panel.

This set predates the Android TVs this area of the Community is for. Try also posting under ‘Other TVs’ as well, where you may have more luck.
