I cannot play 4x3 movies, screen will not show 4x3 mode

Hi @nortelman   The aspect ratio will depend on the signal source. If you lower the signal resolution on your device, it may allow you to distort the picture.  UHD is fixed to 16x9 mode, try HD or SD.

The aspect ratio you want to use is governed by the device you are using with the TV.

For example if you are using a PVR such as a Humax you would go to the Humax Settings and

set aspect ratio there.

If you are only using the TV as the source then you will have aspect ratio available in the TV settings.

Settings> Display & Sound> Screen. On mine;

Wide Mode is set too Auto.

4:3 default is Normal and

Display area +1.

When attaching a device via HDMI or USB go into the devices own settings and select the aspect ratio there.
