Extension mic connector for "Hot Shoe" on HDR-XR200VE.

There is no 3.5 mm socket on my cam-corder but I understand a small insert is/was available that provided a socket. Any ideas where I might be able to buy one?

Or perhaps if the alternative Blue-tooth radio mic is still available (and not too expensive!) I would consider one of those.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Ron,

all the third party accessories (3.5mm audio jack to hot-shoe) are unavailable at the moment, yet here you can find the three compatible Sony accessories.

The ECM-HW2 looks like a radio mic so will investigate if one is available anywhere. Thanks agaim Nic.
