Menu options

My Sony RX10 m4 keeps showing me an explanation of what each mode means on the LCD screen when I change from AV to Manual etc.  is there a way to switch this off please.  I have hunted through the menus on the Sony manuals but can’t find an answer.  Many thanks for any help.
