Sony HT-CT390 remote not working

Bought CT390 worked fine for two days. Then remote packed up. John Lewis swapped. Now same again. Have CT380 in other room...390 remote works on it but not on new bar. And no haven't mixed them up! Any suggestions or,have I been unlucky?

Hi there

So to confirm:

HT-CT380 = RMT-AH101U
HT-CT390 = RMT-AH200U

The RMT-AH101U does not work on the HT-CT380 but works on the HT-CT390.

Does the RMT-AH200U work on the HT-CT380 by any chance?

Do you have anything blocking the HT-CT380 IR sensor?  Other than that, I am unsure on what else to suggest other than back to JL again.

Hi

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Nearly...the 101 works on both the 200 only works on the CT 380 now. The IR isn't blocked in any way.
