Sony HTCT780 (Bravia Sync - CEC) passthrough?

I've just placed an order on Sony Online for the new HTCT 780 soundbar.

Does anyone know if the CEC would still work for devices connected through the soundbar?

I have a media box that connected directly to my Sony TV works with CEC, so I can control the media box with my Sony TV remote.
If I connect the media box to one of the soundbar's HDMI slots instead, and use the HDMI ARC to pass through to the TV, I will get the sound, but will I still be able to control the media box with CEC if it's not directly connected to the TV or will CEC only work site the soundbar directly connected?

Will I need to connect my CEC devices directly to the TV and the rest through the soundbar?

I do not have the brand new one, just an HTCT370, but for sure it works without interfering: you can either choose to use the TV remote, the HT one or the device own as you prefer.
