My sony xperia T2 Ultra went into the water and vibrated continueously and turned off. I then shake offf as much water as I can and the water inside as well. I was unable to take the battery out though. Then I put it back together and let it charge. After a night, it started to have the pictures when we turn it on, then suddenly it disappeared. The second time this happened, I went in and the phone was working. But when I opened youtube(the app i opened when the phone fell into water) the screen has a shadow like it ws wet. Then the batery percentage went from 99% to 0% and turned off angain. Then the led light kept flashing red and it vibrated continously and is still vibrating continously in a stange pattern like this: - --- - --- - --- - --- - --- - --- and the led light kept flashing red. Please help!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry to hear this. I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for repair. Your local support can also assist you with any questions you may have regarding warranty coverage and service routines in your country.
Let me know how it works out.
Dear Emil,
I'm sorry, I also would love to do that but since I have two phones and the sony phone was basically an extra pace for me to play games, my mum doesn't let me go outside to repair it. Is there any way to fix it without repiring it?????
Since the Xperia T2 Ultra isn't waterproof, I doubt the warranty will cover it but you should contact them, as to what can you do to repair it, that's complicated, you don't know the extend of the damage, you could remove any sim and sd cards, place the phone in a bowl with rice for 2 days and hope for the best.
@FairyTailPokemon3362, I'm afraid there is nothing else I can recommend if you have dropped your device in to water other then that you contact your Local support for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for repair.
