EMMA REGISTRATION

Hi guys, I have installed Emma, but am having a huge difficulty with the registration. Now get this straight, it's not that I'm too unintelligible to move the .ini file to the installation folder, no. It's that even AFTER I have moved the .ini file to the correct folder, it STILL tells me all this registration crap. I am having difficulty on this matter and getting tired of this constant login page.

This is the list of folders and files at the installation folder:

Bundles

Configuration

jre

licenses

log

plugins

settings

setup

temp

updates

****customization.ini****

Emma home page

Emma

Emma.lock (???)

uninst

customization.ini's contents are:

developerworld/enable = true

What am I doing wrong???? I am not admin on this account but I am using the password to open the application... Please help!

Hi - this is a consumer (as opposed to developer) support forum. Practically no-one here will have a clue what Emma is. You'd be much better off posting on forum.xda-developers.com or stacktrace.

I know what Emma is and have used it and have it installed

So to go through things

You have installed it and then copied and pasted the Customization.ini file to the installation folder

  1. Default path in Windows 64 bit is: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Emma\”
  2. Default path in Windows 32 bit is: “C:\Program Files\Sony Mobile\Emma\”

If asked did you overwrite and that should be it - On start up of the program after doing all that it should work without asking for registration

So I've just uninstalled mine and redownloaded and installed

Without doing anything with the customization file I have the below on Emma startup as I assume you have

Then in the Emma folder via Program files I have the below files

After copying the customization file it starts with out issue

However more files have been added to the Emma folder - An extra four

As much as I am grateful for your efforts and answer, I can assure you that the customization.ini is in the correct installation folder and that it is still not working. I will try on an administrator account and see.

Emma will only work with unlocked bootloaders - For anything else use Pc Companion for updates
