GPS not working post Jelly Bean update - Xperia Go

Am I the only one whose GPS is not starting up after being upgraded from ICS to JB.

I waited for a long time thinking that it might take a few more moments to start up, but in vain. It seems GPS and Wi-FI both have stopped working. Also, I am facing problems while tethering my device to computer.

Any solution?

Are you guys going to release an updated version of JB to fix all these?

Thanks!

Did you try factory reset or PC companion repair?

Read both of them, but no use. I have used PC companion for update as I did not want to lost any of my old apps.

One of them recommends leaving the GPS active for half an hour, your reply is little early for you to have tried that one already.

A factory reset is recommended after the update.

If you use a standard setup, the phone will get the installed programs automaticly from the play store.

Tried it yesterday. Tried all the possibilities of using GPS using differnet apps, going to settings and clearing the GPS data,  but no use.

So, you want to me update my phone again? Tell me one thing, what data will go exactly? What if I move my all the internal apps to SD card, will they remain as it is?

OK, then I can't help you, good luck in the future.
