My xperia x10 mini won't turn on!

My phone froze so I had to restart it, but it turned itself off instead and now it won't turn back on, anyone know why? or what i can do?

Hi, try to update software again with SE Update Service.

Here's the download link, http://dl-www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1315209439/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.9.6.exe

No requirement to switch on phone (which you can't) when you use SE Update Service.

This worked perfectly for mine. (hang after reboot on unlock screen)

Previous condition: only way to power was power button + home (square button)

phone booted up, but hung at the unlock screen.

The PC companion reset didn't help (holding vol down while rebooting )

Solution:

========

1> install http://dl-www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1315209439/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.9.6.exe

2> Connected phone to usb

3> rebooted phone with power + home the release all keys and immediately hold the back key <= (I kept holding it for at least one minute)

   the LED for me when green after a while and the phone was detected by the software.

4> The power button now works without holding the home (square) key and the phone can be setup.

Best of luck and thank god for that! the phone was just 2 days old!

i turned off my sony erickson x10 mini pro and when i turned it back on it came on but froze on the sony erickson logo what do i do ???

I believe it is just a software issue, 2 options for you ....

Either you send it back (for Software Repair or replacement?) or perform it yourself.

You should be able to do it reference to the above posts, just download SE Update Service from the above link. It is pretty simple, just do it slowly and patiently. Be aware that this process will erase phone data completely, SD Card not affected (probably you have nothing much in your phone memory).

Anyway, the easiest way is to send it back since you just got your phone yesterday.

Ok i solved the issue, took it back and got my money back and bought myseld a new iPhone 4s and the problem is solved!

Hi, try the following ....

Remove battery, re-insert battery, press and hold MENU (middle hard key), then press ON/OFF key till phone vibrates and starts up.
