no unlock attempts remaining xperia sp

so i got this phone from a fam.. member it has 0 network unlock attempts since the previous owner tried to unlock it is there  a way to reset it or is there another method of unlocking the phone to all networks

If you are out of unlocking attempts the only way to get new ones is to have the device sent in to an authorized service center. For assistance with this I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support or the retailer where the device was sold.
