Phone suddenly stopped working!!

Earlier today I was on my phone playing angry birds when I was called to do something, so I locked it like usual. When I went back to try and unlock my phone, nothing was working! The Phone won't turn on, the PC can't pick it up via the PC companion, nothing happens when plugged into the wall socket (Not even a light comes on at the top). Nothing seems to be happening, just a blank screen! Please help!

Hi, check if the following helps ...

Press up volume and the power key at the same time.

5 seconds - Restart phone

10 seconds -Shutdown phone.

Did this a few times over last 48hrs and no success. Then switched phone on now after about 8hrs and it appears to be working again just wondering if this has resolved the problem??
