Sony Elm / Naite and bluetooth 4.0 laptop

Hi,

I have a problem with the o.g. combination.

I can connect the phone and it is also listed in the bluetooth devices but there are no services displayed.

It is only briefly displayed as active, then "fade" it again.

Any idea how I can get this to work?

Hard to say without knowing how your bluetooth adapter works but perhaps you need to run a software that starts a connection. Try using PC Companion and see if you can get a connection over bluetooth: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/computer-software/

If that doesn't work i recommend that you first check if there are any updates to the software/drivers for your computers bluetooth adapter. If you have any other bluetooth devices connected to the computer you should also try turning these off.

If that doesn't help i recommend that you check that the bluetooth adapter is backwards compatible with bluetooth 2.1.

I don't know why, but 2 days later it worked.
