sony xperia ion restarts when the gps

In general, such a problem ... gps enabled and is not run applications that use it all right, but once you launch any application that tries to determine the location of 30 seconds after the screen goes out and goes to the phone restarts ... anyone any ideas?

That doesn't make sense, the Xperia Ion was released March 2012, more than 3 years ago, there's no such thing as an evil plan to kill your phone and make you buy a new one, what you are experiencing could be a hardware issue, contact your local Xperia care and get it inspected.

Hi, guys so I've contaced sony xperia care and they said me that I'am first who has problem with this type of mobile and they didnt help me 😕 just told me same thigns like try to PC companion and try restart whole system but of course it doesnt help me So I rly dont know what should i do. 😕

And PCC didn't solved the issue? what if you remove both SIM and SD cards and try again?

I find that really hard to beleive when both my and my wife's phones presented this exact same issue with the GPS about a week ago.

I use GPS quite often, and since last week the activation of the GPS reboot the phone.

Both phones have been purchased at the same time !

Everything was fine last week. No update since.

Yeap PCC didnt solved I tried it 2times and today i tried change SIM with my 2friends and it didnt help too ... I am rly frustrated because last week was everything OK and suddenly it doesnt work and there wasnt any update or something like this I am going next week on long trip and I really need it and nobody can help me

Ok guys i again tried PCC and didnt install any apllication... I had before my acc on gmail and there was some updates so I unistall it and its going to run I actually dont know if this is just luck or that reason but it really helped me

That means that the issue was an app acting up.

Ok guys it wasnt that problem today the gps fall down again, but now I know the real problem ... when u restart whole system in PCC and then dont accept options for internet and mms everything is OK gps run with wifi well and there is no problem but in time when I accept options for internet and mms system and i tried the GPS system automatically fall down in 30sec ... I am going to call sony support What should I do
