sony xperia ion restarts when the gps

In general, such a problem ... gps enabled and is not run applications that use it all right, but once you launch any application that tries to determine the location of 30 seconds after the screen goes out and goes to the phone restarts ... anyone any ideas?

same problem here, i don't think sony will help with this, they want us just to buy a new phone jejeje, the rooting really works?

Hi,

I rooted my Ion with DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit.

I just modified the line with SUPL_PORT = 7275 in the file gps.conf by  SUPL_PORT = 7276 with ES Explorateur (Play Store).

Since I done that more than a week ago the GPS work without any problem.

Thanks a lot Mezozoy. I am having a doubt on sony is this bug done from there end suddenly to stop using this iON. Because this was one of the best phone sony having in that much low bugget.

i tried what you guys said but whem i try to save the gps.conf file it doen´t let me.

i´ve rooted the phone and i am using the ES explorer tool.

if anyone could help me i woul appreciate it

Hi, you have to check "root explorer" option in ES settings. It should work.

On my phone I had to change both.

1- google.com

2- 7276

now is working
